UPDATE: Fern Gully main road reopened to vehicular traffic

The Fern Gully main road has been reopened to vehicular traffic, the National Works Agency (NWA) has reported.

An oil spill in the area earlier Friday had resulted in the road being closed to motorists.

“Our team working with the Fire Dept has dealt with the oil spill that was impacting the space,” the NWA said.

It however advised motorists to continue to exercise caution in using the corridor.
