Have you been naughty or nice this year?
THE year is winding down, and January is usually the time when people become contrite about wrongs done over the last year, and make plans for a better year to come.
This year, there may have been problems you could have approached differently, or things you may have done that warrant an award.
Below women and men share some of their naughty and nice actions in 2014.
The naughty list
Marlon H:
I had a violent temper tantrum around my wife, and kicked over a fan in a rage when she refused to listen to what I was saying.
Danielle H:
I was naughty this year. Every other week I told my boyfriend I was sick, just for him to give me extra cash to go the doctor, which I’d use on myself.
Ricardo J:
Very naughty. I had many women on the side who believed they were the only women in my life.
Dave C:
I was dating my girlfriend’s cousin while with her. Yup, very naughty. She’s still clueless though.
Alicia G:
I was naughty this year. I stole sweets from my little sister and told her I witnessed ants pulling them away. She’s three years old. She believed me.
Roslyn J:
I was definitely naughty this year. I poured water onto my co-worker’s seat after a brief office conflict. The chair was dirty and being soaked, it messed up her beige skirt.
The nice list
Alan D:
I think I scored big on the nice list. I have a very busy life and I made time to plan a surprise party for my girlfriend, who was pleasantly surprised.
Kareem B:
I was nice this year. I showed my human side when I saw a man hit his wife in a public space. I stepped up and defended her, then told him man to man that he was wrong.
Janelle E:
I was nice this year. I paid my husband’s insurance on his car as he was laid off a few months before the payment was due and was in a tight spot.
Patricia H:
I was nice this year. Seeing that last year I broke my hubby’s favourite cologne out of anger, this year I took him on a one-week vacation to his favourite getaway spot on the north coast.
Davion F:
I remembered all of her special dates. Whether it was her birthday, anniversary, graduation date, the date her dog died, or our kids’ birthdays. I made sure I remembered them all, and got her gifts that suited the occasion.
Annette M:
I had fewer arguments with my husband and I tried my best to strike a compromise where it was needed.
