Where must the Christians date?
For the Christian who wants to date, the struggle is real. It comes with figuring out exactly what to do without feeling awkward, and without crossing religious boundaries.
Reverend Alvin Bailey of the Portmore Holiness Christian Church said while single Christians may think dating options are few, there are actually many places that are acceptable for dating, which should be a process used to learn the attributes of the individual to see if marriage should be the next step.

Religious concert
According to Bailey, it’s an open space, an opportunity to worship together while having fun, and each individual will see just how fun the other is.
An ice cream date
“Nothing is wrong with going out to eat ice cream and having a good conversation,” Bailey said.
A restaurant
Over dinner, it is likely that you’ll be exposed to certain mannerisms your potential spouse possesses. You’ll see if they have good social graces and you can use the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about them.
Art gallery
While this option may not be the first to pop into your mind, Reverend Bailey said it’s an opportunity to learn something new and appreciate other aspects of life.
“It is not boring, you can share your opinions about the art pieces, and you’ll understand what the individual likes,” he said.
A play
They say laughter is the best medicine and a play will make you appreciate the individual’s sense of humour; and determine if they have a sense of humour. If it’s the first date, it will be memorable.
Karaoke
Breaking the ice is important and actions speak louder than words. If you’re a good singer, your date will know without asking.
