Who cheats more?
So much goes into keeping a relationship going, and when things begin to fall apart, sometimes one or both parties look to other persons to satisfy their needs.
Whether the reason for cheating is boredom or temptation, many couples have to battle with the reality of cheating. But which party is more often the victim and which is the perpetrator? We asked experienced readers, who cheats more, men or women?

For sure its men who are more likely to be unfaithful. The Jamaican culture and mentality supports men and their promiscuity, even if you should look back in our history, slavery and all. The songs that we sing, ‘Man must have nuff gal and gal inna bundle’…need I say more?

Some people may want to deny this, however I personally believe that women cheat more, they are just better at hiding it. Men find it harder to detect when a woman cheats as she is more discreet about it. We are always one step ahead of them especially when it comes to having our girlfriends on our side to back up our cover story.

I would say both. Cheating is not a man or woman thing, it’s just who gets caught in the end. It is just that women don’t get caught in the act as much as men do. Women are craftier and sneakier when it comes to these things. If a woman does her thing right, the man wouldn’t even have a clue! The worst part is that she can decide to break up with him by accusing him of cheating, knowing full well that she is the guilty party.

Men are more guilty than women when it comes to having affairs, especially if you take into consideration their constant bragging about their sexual escapades. Women tend to be more loyal sexually than men.

Men cheat more; our eyes and hands can’t stop wandering. Even though you may have your one woman, it’s like you can’t be satisfied, you just want more.

Look how much man get ‘jacket’ in Jamaica and you really ask who cheats more? Women, of course! Men are not usually suspicious of their women and so most times the cheating that women engage in goes undetected.

Women, it’s just that they are more secretive. Women are experts at keeping secrets. Up until now I don’t know some things about my girlfriend and I know she will never tell me. I have learnt to live with that. Just like how I would learn to live with cheating. What I don’t know won’t kill me.
