Woman’s intuition is a helluva thing, and if you believe he’s playing you, chances are he is. And if you see the evidence in his text messages or on the phone bill, then beware. Who is he calling when you’re not around? Below, the men confess:

Richard, 34:

Every now and again, when I’m alone, let’s say in the car or doing some errands, I will call up one of my exes and we will just laugh and reminisce about the old days. I’m married now and I don’t want anything to disturb the peace in my house, so I make sure my wife doesn’t see me. I also have to remember to delete my call history. Funny enough, sometimes my wife will go as far as to check my credit balance.

Adrian, 38:

Men have female friends but sometimes there is just this one female friend who we remain close to regardless of our relationship status. She is the person who knows us inside out apart from our girlfriend/wife and mother. So I mean sometimes we end up crossing the line with her and she becomes more than just a friend.

Rayan, 32:

I work in an office with mostly females. Sometimes I will meet up with them outside office hours. To not cause any embarrassment in the case of my girlfriend suddenly showing up and thinking we are on a date, I just don’t mention it. I hide instead and organise our little meet ups.

Elliot, 40:

As a man you must learn to trust your mother and what she has to say. Sometimes mi have to hide and call mi mother. My wife is not a good cook and so ever so often I will go home to mama just to get a proper meal but mi can’t mek she know. So mi haffi hide and talk!

Sometimes women love to be in pure ‘cass-cass’ and you just happen to find yourself in the middle of it. Every now and again when my girlfriend has an argument with my sister or so, I have to be hiding and calling the other parties to ensure that they are okay. In my girl’s eyes, I can’t be seen to be taking sides.
