Spice, spice baby
Relationships are hard work, and keeping the spice going for years and years can be difficult in the face of all the other issues that will arise in the union. But keeping the fire burning is essential, as one of the causes of relationships breaking down is that sometimes passion dies, and interest is diverted to another party.
So how do couples keep the passion going years into their relationships?
Marjorie, 41:
You have to change it up on your partner. You can’t be boring and monotonous. You have to spice things up. So be it a new sex position or reservations at a nice restaurant, you must know how to put a smile on your partner’s face.
Franz, 39:
As a man you have to learn what makes you woman happy and do it. If she is happy then it means you are happy. Give her flowers, chocolates, a foot massage after a hard day at work, just do it for her.
James, 32:
Compromise. In a relationship you have to learn how to give and take. You have try and understand each other both as individuals and as partners in the relationship.
Ellis, 38:
My wife keeps herself looking good and hot and so I find that my eyes don’t have to wander much, as I am as attracted to her 10 years ago as I am today. That’s the secret, ladies, don’t let yourselves go once you have found yourself a man.
Shauna, 28:
When I first met my boyfriend it was as if I was being swept off my feet literally. I would say that today I still feel the same way about him. I think because we have both made the decision to work on our relationship consistently I find that we have managed to keep the love going regardless.
