I miss you like crazy

I miss you like crazy

BY KIMBERLEY HIBBERT

No one wants to know that the saying, ‘out of sight, out of mind’ applies to their relationship when they’re apart from their partners; you want to at least know that when you’re not together, your partner is thinking about you even a teeny-weeny bit.

Below, Christopher Lai, author of the e-book The Lai Detector, which provides men with insights on how to approach women, shares a few signs that when you’re away, he’s missing you like crazy.

1. Talking 24/7

Lai said when you miss someone, you can’t fall asleep without hearing their voice. “So, when it’s bedtime, you’ll turn off the light, jump into bed, pull up the covers and call them, and you’ll talk for hours, because when you miss someone, you don’t need eight hours sleep,” he said.

2. Doing the unthinkable

If he usually listens to upbeat music — rap, dancehall, then when you leave he’s playing All of Me by John Legend.

3. Keeping the communication flowing

Lai said when you miss someone you’ll find a reason to message them throughout the day. “You understand that it’s very important to keep the conversation interesting. You might flirt with them, because it makes them smile, you might send them something hilarious, because it makes them laugh, and you might say something sexual, because you want to touch them in all the right places,” he said.

4. I miss you

According to Lai, a sign you miss someone is telling them that you miss them over and over again. “You’ll say ‘I miss you ‘and they’ll respond ‘I miss you too’, and, of course, it can’t hurt to say it again and use a smiley face,” he said.

5. Out of sync

“You’ll get miserable for no reason. The thing is this, when you miss your significant other and you’re unable to see them, you’ll become frustrated, and sometimes this frustration may get the better of you,” he said. But Lai explained that seeing them is likely to instantly calm you down, which may result in a show of affection. You’ll kiss them and put your arms around them, then you’ll be in a rush to rip off their clothes, and they’ll be in a greater rush to rip off yours,” he said.
