The worst lies I’ve ever been told
THEY say if you tell a lie once, all your truths become questionable, and it has proven true time and time again in relationships.
When it comes to being lied to by your partner, the trust will diminish and sometimes can never be rebuilt. Below people tell All Woman the worst lies they’ve been told by a partner.
Lisa H:
The worst lie I’ve been told is “I’m single”, when in fact the person was married and his family lived abroad.
Dianne W:
It was being told that the person was heterosexual when in fact the person was homosexual. I was working as a nurse’s assistant when I met him and all was seemingly OK, until I caught him in the act when I stopped by his house one day.
Nicola C:
We both worked at the same place and one day he stopped by my department and said he was going to look for his mom as she wasn’t feeling well, and by time I left work he would have met up with me at my house. When I got home he wasn’t there, so out of concern I drove by his mother’s house, saw her tending her garden and looking quite fine. I went inside and asked if she was OK, she said “couldn’t be better”. I probed further and asked what happened and where her son was. She said he never stopped by and she did not speak to him that day.
Frank L:
The worst lie my girlfriend told me was that she was a virgin. I believed her until the deciding moment when I realised she had more experience than me. What’s worse is that she gave me an STD.
Adrian R:
She told me she was a Christian and even came by my house ministering the gospel. I respected that until I fell asleep and felt her mouth on a very private body part.
Rory J:
‘I love you’ was the worst lie my partner told me. I believed her to the point where I thought I was ready to marry her. But I found out she was using the money I’d given her to buy things for her outside man.
Anthony G:
She told me she was pregnant and I bought it. I stopped going out to be with her and I even placed her above my family and friends because she was carrying my child. One day I saw her hiding and putting on a sanitary napkin and that’s when the truth came out.
Nathan P:
She told me she had cancer and after months of believing, I found out it was a lie.
