Spice up your sexcabulary
The love vocabulary of many of couples is limited to the usual ‘honey’ or ‘darling’. But what about adding some spicy words to your vocabulary, words that only you and your partner know the significance of?
Amelia Thompson, the local author of the novel Sexual Encounters, who is no stranger to erotic fiction, shares three ways that you can increase your sexcabulary.
1.Reading
If you want to increase your sexcabulary, you first have to consume more erotic content. Whether in the form of videos or literature, learning new terms or feeling more comfortable saying these words to your partner will come with time. Thompson suggests learning new sexy words for the male and female genitalia. The beauty of this is that when you have learnt these new words, they can then become part of your everyday love life. Use them in your texts, calls, notes and even in lovemaking.
2.Just talk plain dirty to him
Practice makes perfect, right? So then there should be no excuse as to why you shouldn’t practice! Take every opportunity you have to incorporate your newfound vocabulary into your everyday life. Thompson suggests that you choose every day words that have a sexual meaning for both of you. The word ac’com’plish for example could mean an orgasm or saying you feel for some ‘special’ could tell your partner that you want some loving.
The beauty about this is that you could be among friends and talking sex without anybody knowing, giving you both a secret thrill. So be spontaneous, surprise your partner with a word or two!
3. Its time to turn up the heat…
As his partner in crime he needs to feel comfortable enough to express himself sexually. Some people may view sex on one plain, however, your sexcabulary can be one interesting method of foreplay. So create an environment where you can be as kinky as you would like to be. Give him some space to be naughty; say some dirty things to him. This may end up being your secret weapon to keeping your man hooked on you for years to come.
