6 secrets women keep
Not every woman is willing to share every little detail of her life with her partner; there are some things which are best left unsaid. Bridget Thompson-Dunkley, author of Sexual Encounters, shares six such secrets.
1. Her true finances
If she is making more than her man is, often she will have a separate bank account, maintaining her independence. Whether this money is for unforeseen bills or her nest egg, what her man doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
2. The man on the side
No need to clutch your pearls and gasp for air, men are not the only ones who do this! Women, too, do have men on the side. For her, its might be that her sexual needs are not being met or that she wants a little more excitement in her life. It could also be that her hair, nails and bills are not being paid for by you and so she needs another source of income.
3. Her past
A woman’s past is her past and she might not feel inclined to share this with you. Be it the child she left back in the country or the questionable relationships she has had in the past, it may be that she is too embarrassed to tell you or that she might feel that your feelings towards her will change as a result of her confessing. To her, her baggage is her baggage and no one else’s.
4. Health problems
Whether it is that she is pregnant or thinks she has an infection, some women might hide this from their partners with plans of dealing with it themselves. They might opt to find out definitively what their diagnosis is, before sharing. Other women will share only on the prompting of their doctors.
5. What she wants in bed
She might not say a word to you about what she really wants in bed but instead might just submit to your preferences. There is a difference between sex and intimacy, a distinction which many women know all too well; however, they may not be able to articulate it.
6. That she tells her best friend everything
How else is a woman supposed to get relationship advice? If she is with you, she needs someone (other than you) to talk to about your relationship. Every woman talks, the question is, who is she talking to?
