Five phrases no woman wants to hear in bed
Your partner may opt to provide some moment-by-moment commentary during the act, but while feedback is good, sometimes keeping quiet is the best option.
Denecia Green, author of Lies, Sex & Betrayal, shares a few phrases no woman wants to hear in bed.
1. ‘Are you there yet?’
Contrary to popular belief, an orgasm does not define a great sexual encounter. Keep in mind that some women have mastered the art of faking them just to preserve their men’s fragile egos. So please stop asking this question and don’t say you want to see when she gets there either. Those words put way too much pressure on us.
2. ‘Shhh!’
Really? We are not at the movies and so there is no need to be quiet. If a woman starts screaming or making all sorts of loud noises, it’s her way of letting you know that you have hit the spot and are totally blowing her mind. Don’t tell her to tone it down or cut back on your action just for her to simmer down. Cover her mouth with your hands or pillows or increase the volume on your television. Whatever you do, do not disturb her moment. Let her be.
3. Another woman’s name
By far this is the worst of them all. And really there is no rational explanation for this! So let’s move on to how you can make it up to her. Firstly, apologise; then secondly, apologise with a full body massage, caressing and pampering; then apologise again.
4. ‘You like that?’
If she is writhing in pleasure, gripping your body or the sheets, and moaning, chances are she’s liking it.What she doesn’t like is having to pause every minute to answer obvious questions.
5. ‘Well, that was fun!’
Words like these followed by a mad scramble for your clothes are sure to freak her out especially if she slept with you on the first date or earlier than she anticipated. So think twice before you make a flippant comment.
