A desperate woman can be defined as one who is overeager, anxious, and willing to be with any man to avoid being alone. Every man is summed up as a potential husband, and as the years pass by, her yearning for a mate grows deeper.
Are you a desperate woman? Communications specialist and motivational speaker Marie Berbick says a woman who has kissed quite a few frogs and waited for some time without any sign of Mr Right can make some serious mistakes out of sheer frustration.
“She might do several things including desperately searching for Mr Right, which can lead to a series of bad choices; and giving up on love and shutting herself away because she’s fed up, or raising her standards so high that she shuts out Mr Right along with all the Mr Wrongs,” Berbick says.
Here are some signs that you’re desperately searching.
1. You’re dropping your standards. You are prepared to drop your dating standards, all in the name of being in a relationship.
2. Too much calling and texting. You’re blowing up the phone of your love interest night and day, 24/7, 365, and you’re not even in a relationship.
3. You are always buying gifts. You constantly buy him gifts to the point where he has become annoyed at getting them.
4. He is all yours. You’ve managed to snag a mate, but you don’t want to share him, nor do you want him to go anywhere without you and if he tries, you always tag along.
5. You seek constant reassurance. You don’t believe that the feelings he has for you are real, so he has to be constantly telling you over and over again.
6. You are moving too fast. You have only been on a few dates and you’re already talking about a future with him.
7. Wanting to see him too often. Even when he tells you he is too tired and just wants to relax, you still want to see him no matter what.
8. You are always missing him. Even though you are with him 22 hours out of the day, the two hours that you are apart has you yearning for him.
9. Sweet mouth. Your mouth is sweeter than a candy factory as you profess your love for him over and over.
10. You play detective. You spy on him, tracking his Facebook profile and following him on every social media platform available on the Internet.
