Drama, suss and other turn-offs
There is always going to be that one thing about a mate or potential mate that will have you thinking twice about whether being with them long-term is a sure thing. What’s your biggest deal-breaker about the opposite sex?
Dorian, 23:
A woman with nasty feet. You know the feet with the cracked heel back and foot white like chalk and the calf big and tough? I just can’t get close to that. I love seeing women in nice shoes. It doesn’t have to be heels, it can be a regular flip flop, but she has to have nice feet.
Franklyn,28:
I’m not into fluffy women; they do nothing for me, even with a pretty face. I just like a woman I can lift up.
Aileen, 36:
I just can’t be with a hairy man — all over his back, all down there, all the hair left back in the shower. Nope, not at all, not my cup of tea. Even if he shaves, he would have to shave all the time.
Chyna, 25:
Body odour. Nothing turns me off more than a stinky man. I strongly think that people should have an intimate relationship with soap, rag and water, and an even deeper relationship with toothpaste and their toothbrush.
Phylicia, 38:
A broke-pocket man with an empty bank account — that will kill any vibes.
Jordon, 30:
Bleaching is one of those things that would turn me off for life. The I-can-paint-a-rainbow-on-my-skin type of look is too much for me. Today you’re dark brown, next week you’re a few shades lighter then you glow between purple and pink. Any woman who thinks I’d be interested would be dead wrong.
Kieron, 27:
Too much make-up and poor application of it. Not everybody is a make-up artist, I get that, but some women try too hard and end up looking like a paint tin exploded on their face.
Howard, 36:
The ambulance and radio car women — the women who as you meet them they want you to give them things.
Ajay, 26:
The fake everything, from eyelashes to bottom. I am attracted to natural beauty. I see nothing wrong with enhancing what you already have, but when you go about creating a new person that is too much for me.
Fabian, 36:
What turns me off is a woman who carries the resentment of a past relationship into her new relationship and always accusing the innocent of being guilty.
Mica, 32:
A man who gambles, drink and smokes. The smell of cigarettes and liquor is a terrible combination.
Nigel, 38:
A woman who lies and loves drama and suss.
