Inside the mind of a jealous man
MEN are said to be hard-wired to conquer and destroy anything that seems to be a threat to their relationships. This characteristic, usually driven by insecurity, often results in the emergence of the ugly emotion called jealousy, which sometimes causes men, who are much more territorial than women, to go to the extreme to ensure that their women are not entertaining any additional suitors.
It is said that a jealous woman does better work than the FBI, but the people who coined that phrase obviously had not met the jealous men below, who tell of the lengths they’ve gone to investigate their significant others.
Ken:
How yuh mean? I invest in my girl and take care of her. So when I suspected that she was giving me ‘bun’, I just became friendly with her girlfriends, buying them gifts and so on. Since she was always texting me about being with these friends, this was the way to see if her story and theirs corresponded. Then I would drill her, and write down every answer she gave. If she slipped with the details, then I’d know what that meant.
Danny:
We know each other’s schedules and any deviation from it should be declared. So I check her mileage every day and at intervals throughout the day I call her to see where she is at. I’ve set up a random settings on my phone to be reminded when to call.
Kevin:
I inspect her lady parts after intercourse, that way I know how it looks. If she’s giving it away, then I can look and know. I also know our specific post-sex smell, so if she smells differently, then I’ll know she cheated. That’s how I investigated, then broke up with my cheating ex. My current girl has sense enough not to try those things with me.
Dillan:
I am an IT guy so I know a lot about technology. When my girlfriend started acting funny with her phone and talking in the other room, I decided that I would be in control. I made sure her phone had a bug which meant she had to take it to me to repair. Knowing she knew absolutely nothing about technology, I hacked all her social media and messaging apps and installed a phone recorder that recorded all her calls. It turns out she was just helping a friend who was going through a rough period. Oh, for the record, I stopped listening when I realised the recording was personal, so I don’t think I am that bad.
Kerr:
Sometimes I think that my body is just not good enough for her or that I can’t get her everything she needs. She will get like a thousand likes on a picture on Facebook and Instagram in seconds. While she doesn’t reply, and most times deletes comments from men who drool over her, I decided to check if it was all for show. I joined all the sites she was on, of course using a fake name and fake pictures. I added her after sending what I thought was a very impressive friend request. She added me and a few weeks later I made my move. When I finally did, we were having great conversations and I thought I had made a great impression as a nice guy. But it turns out my fake, smoking hot body was not good enough for her. She liked the real me, because she sent the fake me a photo of her and myself, saying she was happily taken. I asked a few friends at work to try too, and they also got turned down. I’m ashamed that I never trusted her, but now my mind can be at ease.
Pete:
I paid one of my girlfriend’s friends to spy on her and report back to me.
