Most satisfying things I’ve found out about my ex on Facebook
IT’S one of the largest social networking sites and while most people use it to connect with old friends and relatives, its evils know no bounds.
Founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook is immensely popular among billions of people worldwide; however, though developed for social networking, some of the other things people use it for can raise eyebrows.
One such thing is keeping up to date on exes. Below readers share with All Woman the most satisfying things they’ve found out about their exes through Facebook.
Marlon:
I found out she got pregnant for the guy who she left me for. Turns out he was married and didn’t want anything to do with her. Karma is something else.
Douglas:
She and the new man were locked up for fraud. It never got any better than that for me.
Eaton:
When I dated her she was the perfect girlfriend, trophy wife and the full package. When she left me she got pregnant and just looked like a mudfish. She never lost the baby weight and she suffered alopecia. It sounds awful, but she seems ‘pop down’ now.
Dave:
I found out that her new boyfriend threw her out in the middle of the night. She posted it and said, “How can someone you’ve loved, shared kids with, do this to you?” I thought of calling her and helping, but I had to revel in the moment.
Jeneil:
He was kicked from his football club. I know that meant the world to him and it was one of his top priorities. So when I saw that I said, “Yes, at least he’s experiencing pain too.”
Dawnette:
He was having marital problems and his wife burnt the mattress and posted it.
Chris-Ann:
So he left me for a younger girl. When I signed in one day months after the break-up I saw where he sent a message saying she was cheating on him and he’s sorry. So I said “I’ve moved on. Who’s laughing now?” Then I kept snooping, only to find out he was now posing with other women to get back at her and I thought, “Oh what a tangled web we weave.”
Anastacia:
He married a girl with a very big nose and many love handles. She’s also less educated than I am. My sister said it is very vain of me to sit and compare, but I’m just glad I have better qualities than her in terms of putting myself together, and getting an education.
Karen:
I used to help him with a lot of stuff including his assignments in his Master’s class. When we broke up he had this undergrad girlfriend helping him and she lifted information. He got cited for plagiarism and was blacklisted. At first I felt sorry for him, because that’s a lot of wasted money, but then I laughed. He had his OK girlfriend in his Master’s class helping him, but left her for an undergraduate student who clearly didn’t realise the implications of lifting information, so now they can both face that.
