Does cheating come with rules?
It often said that women can’t do what men do and remain ladies, and many men judge women based on their actions. These are sometimes relationship crimes that the men themselves are guilty of committing.
Men, for example, will insist that women forgive them for cheating, but then all hell will break loose if the women should request the same favour.
It makes one wonder, does cheating come with rules? Is it more acceptable for men to cheat and not women?
Ava, 26:
Cheating is cheating. It doesn’t matter who does it, man or woman, it is wrong.
Stacy, 33:
I think women have the right to be upset if their men cheat on them, but I know a few men who would think differently. They think it is more acceptable for men to cheat. A man’s ego is a hell of a thing.
Brandon, 38:
I couldn’t handle it if my woman cheated on me. As a man, the thought of having another man go where I am going doesn’t rest well with me. It’s harder for a man to get over cheating than a woman.
Abby, 27:
I have heard many a tale of men who get upset to the point where they hit/abuse their women when they found out they were cheating. Women are able to walk away with their pride in check but men, they are more likely to have an emotional breakdown as a result of it.
Denton, 36:
There are no rules in cheating — a cheater is a cheater. Society has labelled men as the biggest cheaters, so therefore it is a much easier pill to swallow if a man were to cheat. But when a woman cheats she is chastised and judged more than a man.
Charles, 41:
There are rules in everything we do, seen and unseen. A woman cheating is viewed as a big disgrace, while if a man cheats it’s seen more as disrespect. But any way you put it, it still boils down to cheating which really isn’t right or good for any relationship.
David, 32:
I don’t think it is really a rule but more a preferred relationship protocol. I would prefer that my woman not cheat on me, but if I cheated on her I would like for her to forgive me and move on.
Clive, 40:
If my woman cheated on me I don’t think I could take her back. To me she would be tainted, tampered goods.
