Will you be my Valentine?
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you can’t help but feel the light sprinkling of love in the air. This time of the year usually brings back a lot of memories — fond (or not so fond) memories of Valentines past.
Have you ever asked someone to be your Valentine? What was their response?

Yes, I asked someone to be my Valentine when I was in high school. He said yes. He was really cute back then, but I haven’t seen him since I left school.

I remember asking a girl when I was in primary school and she just ran off. I thought she hadn’t heard me so I ran after her. When I caught up to her she started to cry and told a teacher I was troubling her. I also asked an ex co-worker of mine and she said yes, and we dated for some time.

No, I have never asked anyone to be my Valentine. I think men should do the asking, it’s more romantic.

I have never had to ask a girl to be Valentine, I always get asked. I already have two so far for this year — my daughter and my girlfriend.
