On a need-to-know basis
You just met someone who seems interesting, but you aren’t sure if you should entertain the idea of a first date, and even if you did think of about taking it to the next level, there a few things you need to know.
Name one thing that you should know about a person before entering into a relationship with him/her.
Chervonne, 31:
I need to know if he has a JOB and what his income and expenses are. I’m not looking for a church mouse.
Joel, 37:
I would have to know if she is single. Many women say they are but really aren’t, and I don’t like drama.
Terrence, 36:
Are we related? I had this happen to me before. I met a girl who I took out on a date, and when I took her back home I kept telling her I had family living in the same housing scheme. When we got on her avenue I realised that she lived in the same house as my cousin. She turned out to be my cousin’s half-sister. Even though we weren’t related it was too close to the family.
Ariana, 27:
I would like to know how many kids he has, how many baby mothers, and who he lives with, because I’m not looking to be the next baby mother or get caught up with a man and his many women.
Kendra, 29:
I would have to know his HIV/AIDS status, and if he has a criminal record or is mentally unstable.
