Another woman is having his baby
Your man has just confessed to you that he cheated on you and the woman is pregnant. This is going to be his first child, a child that you should have been the one to give him.
You are hurt, your world has been shattered, and you feel as if you are getting hit from every angle with a wave of emotions.
He tells you that he loves you, that he is sorry for what he did but he is going to be there for the baby. What would you do?
Could you compete with a baby?
Karen, 33:
We all make mistakes and we are all human, but the baby would be a constant reminder of his cheating and the fact that he got someone else pregnant when it should have been me.
Kaycee, 28:
I’m not sure what I would do. I would be torn between my heart and my mind. My mind would say leave, but my heart would say I should stay.
Latoya, 37:
A baby is at play here, it’s not like he just cheated and that was it. This would be his first-born. I’m not sure I could compete with that. I would still love him but I would have to walk away.
Dorothea, 39:
Even if I took him back, his baby would now be his top priority and it would be cold of me to tell him I’m more important based on how the child was conceived.
Shea, 25:
I would ask him if he is sure the baby was his. If it turns out to be his, I would end it. It’s one thing to cheat, but to cheat and bring a life into this world, that’s not something I want to be a part of.
