If looks could kill
We’re taught from childhood what to look for in a mate — the beautiful princess or the handsome prince — but unfortunately, not many people fall into these two categories.
Many people are Shreks with great characters, and they need love too. Sure you may be open to dating them, but would you be embarrassed to introduce your partner who was lacking in the looks department to your friends and family? Are you being vain if you are embarrassed by your partner’s looks?
Claudia, 34:
Yes, vain and selfish. If you feel an emotional connection with someone, what does the person’s looks have to do with it? If you can’t get over how the person looks then clearly you don’t love them. If you did you would see their heart and not their face.
Dantae, 26:
I wouldn’t care about how she looks or what anyone thinks of us being together. I don’t live my life based on what others think. If you can’t accept my woman then you have become one less person on my list of contacts.
Gem, 32:
I’m not going to play hide and seek with my man. He is my man so why hide him?
Hanna, 28:
Ugly men give the best love; they love from their head to their big toe. And if a man loves me, that is all that matters.
Joel, 31:
Only an immature idiot would be afraid to go and shout it out from the top of a mountain that they are truly in love, no matter what the person looks like. Love goes beyond looks, so if someone is still stuck on looks then they need to make themselves their perfect match.
