When honesty is the best policy
DO you think it is only fair for someone who has merely a sexual or financial interest in you to be honest and say what their true intent is, rather than play mind games?
Tajay, 28:
Yes, I think that they should be honest and not give you false hope thinking that they are interested in you when all they want is your money. There are too many gold-digging women out there.
Cay, 31:
I think a lot of men need to stop pretending to be what they aren’t. I met this guy once who told me how much he liked me and wanted to get to know me more but what he really wanted to know was how soon he could move in to my house to try and live off me. Just be upfront with me. If you need a place to live, say so, and allow me to kick you to the curb. Don’t waste my time and yours only to get kicked to the curb either way.
Kadean, 34:
I would prefer for a man to just be real, no games, but I know it won’t be happening.
Wane, 37:
No man with real intent is going to walk up to a woman and say, “hi my name is Wane, and I want to have sex with you”. The woman is going to shoot him down as he opens his mouth so sometimes the only way he stands a chance is by giving her the impression that he wants more.
Jerome, 32:
I met a woman who once told me that if I couldn’t help her pay her rent she couldn’t be with me. I told her that I respected her honesty. I knew what I was getting into with her.
