I want my gifts back
MANY people sink to the lowest of the low after relationships end, and make requests for all they had invested, including the gifts that they gave their exes during their relationships. In fact, one woman shared her story of how years ago, her ex asked back for all the furniture he had bought her for her home, down to the carpeting on the floor. She promptly shipped it all back to him on a moving truck, carpets and all.
What would you do if your ex came by and told you that they were there to pick up all the things they bought for you? Would you let them in?
Cass:
No, I would let him to stay outside and huff and puff and blow my house down before he’d get anything back.
Lorna:
If you got me something, it becomes mine. Why the big excitement at my house? You are not getting back a thing.
David:
She can have it all back, I would not stand in her way. But she’d best believe that I would be the last one laughing when I ask her back for the hair that I bought her and eyelashes and the clothes, and the same way in which she turned up at my gate I would turn up at her workplace with scissors in hand to cut out the weave out of her hair. I say all that to say that sometimes people can become petty after a break up and there really isn’t any need to be.
Damion:
For a peaceful life if she asked for the things she gave me I would give her back, but I wouldn’t ask her to give back the things I got her.
Carole:
Some people can really play dirty and show their true colours when things go bad. Personally I don’t have time for childish games. And I have never had this happen to me but if it were to occur, if I know him to be a child, then I know he would try to embarrass me, so before he does I would have his things sent back to him.
