Relationship rules
Life doesn’t come with a handbook and so many of us have no clue about how to function without directions. This cluelessness sometimes extends to relationships, which have their own set of unseen and unspoken rules.
What are your relationship rules?
Vandrea:
I just ask for honesty; just be real with me, no secrets, no games. Be real with me and I will be real with you.
Garfield:
Be loyal and faithful. Don’t drop the ball and drop off form just because we have been together for some time. Look good for me and only me.
Dejah:
My man has to understand that I don’t ask for much more than trust and his love. If you give me any reason not to trust you, then our foundation will get shaky and a shaky foundation can’t withstand any form of pressure or else it will collapse.
Gunny:
I need to be respected. It is hard to get up and go to work sometimes seven days a week and when I get home I get bombarded by you and your friends laughing and chatting, the children making noise, and music blasting. You have some women who take their good man for granted.
Sharnie:
If I am with you, you will know about some of my past relationships and know what I have been through, and if you know this, I shouldn’t have to spell out to you what you shouldn’t do.
