Confronting the other woman

Confronting the other woman

GETTING a face-to-face with the man or woman with whom your partner is having an affair is the desire of many offended partners as they seek answers to their many questions. Being hell-bent on having their day in court, they will take on the roles of judge, jury, and executioner. Have you ever confronted the third party in your relationship, or have you been confronted yourself?

Dondrae:

I never confronted the other man, but I was confronted by him. The girl left me for this guy and they broke up soon after. She asked me for another chance and I was going to work on it with her. Anyway, it so happened that she never told me the man lives in the same community as her. Long story short, while I was there making myself at home, there was a big commotion on the outside and the man, in a big rage with his machete, was threatening me and her while he threw everything he could find at the house. Of course, it wasn’t my community or anything, so I was fearful. I called my cousins because I wasn’t going to risk walking to the bus stop alone.

Anthonya:

I wasn’t in a relationship with him; at the time he was a good friend, but he did like me very much and was actively pursuing me. It so happened that his girlfriend also had the information for his Facebook account and during one of her random searches she saw our conversations. Anyway, she collected my information and on my way home one day she pounced on me and waged a war of words. He was nearby and someone called him, but by this time she was in my face acting like she was ready for me to kick off my heels and teach her a lesson. Anyway, he came running, and he was able to calm her down and we sold her a story about how his friend was the one who was really interested and that the friend, who in truth had lost his phone, was messaging me from his account. I don’t believe that she believed 100 per cent, but we were careful after that, and today we remain great friends, even though we have since grown out of our flirting game. We know too much about each other to be together.

Sasha:

It’s not one or two women I have beaten — turned them upside down and all because some women must know themselves. Some women don’t feel good unless they are with another woman’s man, so if you don’t treat them to a nice guava stick they will pass their place with you and pretend like they are better than you, who is the wife. I am a woman of few words, so every confrontation has been with my fist.

Teneil:

The woman and I worked at the same place but in different departments, and my husband was in charge of a company that provided a service required for the day-to-day operations of the company we worked for. A friend of mine told me that my husband was offering the woman other services than those which he was paid to do, and she had the nerve to boast about it and started spreading lies about our home life. After I finished giving my husband a fine whooping, I went to the office to set her straight on the affairs of my home, then as hot as I could get the coffee, I gave her an early morning steam bath and a few left-hand slaps, then tendered my resignation because unlike her, I had many options. I was asked by the company to retract it, and I got suspended instead. When I returned, one early morning she came, not to exact revenge, but to apologise.

Shameika:

I lived with the family of the father of my child. I slaved over the house every day. This girl kept accompanying his three male friends that came there daily, playing with my child and watching TV. I soon found out that my man was the one fooling around with the girl. The next day I saw her strolling in, stepping on the floor I had just polished in her shoes, and without even extending any pleasantries, I asked her whether or not she was fooling around with him. She denied it. I asked if she was the reason he was out late and would no longer come to release me from caring for his child so I could complete my studies, and she denied it again. Before I knew it, like reflex, I grabbed her head and I started to pull and tug at her hair before I flung her to one side. My man pulled me off and shoved me in the house. I left him soon after that, but even today if I see that girl I would give her round two.
