Parents tell: does sex get better after having kids?
THEY say sex is better when it’s sneaked, but when children are involved does the old adage remain true?

You value it more. Because it’s not just that feeling anymore. You’re both tired most of the time, so when you do get the chance it’s really good to indulge with your partner.

It depends on your partner, so it may be up and down. Sometimes it’s good, but a man has to be aware of changes in a woman’s body and how she feels about herself, especially if she’s breastfeeding. She may also be tired because pickney tek nuff outta you. But once they grow up you have to screechie or wait, as the freedom you once had is gone.

In a way it gets better. My experience could be simply because I became pregnant as soon as I lost my virginity, so after the baby was born sex became less painful and I enjoyed it more. Also, I was the shy type — never waan tek off my clothes yet; however, after my child I became more comfortable and confident. After my shame tree got torn down, I was no longer afraid. However, when my child is around I am not comfortable having sex.

Me nuh inna no ‘jim screechie’ ting. If they are up and I want action, it’s as simple as “go to your bed”. But sex does become a chore simply because you now have to navigate your time. By the time you’re finished taking care of things, you’re tired, or by the time you’re ready to get going you hear one of them cry out. It boils down to making time for it.

When you want something you’ll go after it, no matter what. With my three boys, my husband and I still have sex regularly. However, being wild, there is no place for that, so it’s better. It forces us to be passionate and really enjoy each other quietly.
