What he’s really thinking about your body during lovemaking

By ALPHEA SAUNDERS

FOR some time pornography and glossy magazines were the main source of reference for many men as to what the “perfect” woman looks like, but with the fast and furious growth of various social media platforms, that perception has been amplified with images of womanly perfection being aggressively pushed by pouting selfie-snapping “gurus” and popular bloggers.

In such a smoke-and-mirror environment, it is easy for men to get caught up in the hype of what a woman “should” look like. But what does the average man think of the anatomy of a woman between the sheets, sans Photoshop and strategic lighting?

Darron, 30:

I try to stay blank, but sometimes I’m thinking about her assets and how much they are appealing, or how much better she looks in bed. If she’s pretty I may be thinking how pretty she looks. If she is ugly I’m thinking about how ugly she is, but I’m still hitting this.

Devon, 34:

Well, if she is shaved and smells good, I focus on her breasts and butt. But to be honest, I really don’t judge at that point. I just appreciate, ’cause if we are having sex I can’t style her or say her butt is small or her breasts ‘likkle bit’. I appreciate the figure in front of me. If the butt is big, I want to be in position to appreciate it. If her breasts are moderate to big, or even small, I’m still featuring them. Special attention must be paid. So while in the act I’m concerned with how much of her body I can stimulate and I’m capturing mental pics.

Absolom, 26:

I consider how “clean” and presentable her body looks. Some people just look nasty, while others are highly presentable. I have a big problem with areolas that don’t look right. I see some with some humongous black marks, I don’t know what that’s about but it can be distracting or a turn-off between the sheets. Unpresentable. And another thing, mi annuh one a dem bwoy deh who feel seh the belly absolutely must be flat. But not too much bang, God know.

Stephan, 39:

I’m x-rated, so mi think all kinda things and will say it out loud too. Can’t really print dem tings deh, but sometimes I will be thinking how I’ve been wanting to work that body all week.

Mikey, 36:

A man is not thinking about anything other than not having an orgasm too quickly, and that’s only if the woman’s body is good. If he is a newbie he will think about her body, but if he is a veteran he just wants to get the most out of the experience.

Robert, 40:

To be honest I’m not thinking much, but I’m very visual and I’m looking at the act and how she is responding. I love looking at her face and expressions, and depending on the position, I love looking at her boobs and butt.

Anthony, 25:

Expressions take the cake for me. I’ve been with women of various body types, I’m not partial. But one thing I’m always looking at is her expression. That feeds the moment for me because even more than her body, it tells me whether I’m pleasing her, and I’m big on pleasing a woman more than getting my own gratification. If she is pleased then I benefit too, naturally. I don’t look at bodies during the act and find fault. My mind nuh guh there so, so if she has a few stretch marks here and there, I don’t think I even notice it. Yeah, one and two time mi mind might seh, rhatid a suh she stay, but that’s it. I stay in the moment.

Ragga Bob:

Nah go lie, woman haffi stay good or me nah go deh, so there are usually no surprises. One or two time yuh get a likkle let down, like di breast dem up deh inna di clothes and then when yuh see har naked dem look different, but dat anuh biggie. Me can work roun dem tings deh.

Kenrick, 30:

I think about the feel — if she is firm, if she has lovely skin, if her body type fits the bill. If it’s a quickie my mind goes blank and just focus on the act and climaxing quickly — obviously.
