CAN you really trust his mother even when she seems to adore you? Many women fall into a trap, believing that their mothers-in-law are the perfect souls, when the truth is that some of these women have ulterior motives.

There are some mothers who actually mean their sons well, and want them to be in healthy relationships; and then there are the monsters. They will pretend that they like their daughters-in-law, when it is just a mean ploy to get in the middle of the relationship to destroy any possible bond, and hope their sons will shift focus and zoom in on them only.

So what should you do to ensure that there is no drama?

1.Ensure you keep a distance until the mother earns your trust.

2. Limit personal information. Remember, the more a person knows about you, the more they have to use to destroy you.

3. When there is a problem in the relationship, keep it within the relationship. Avoid running to your man’s mother and work on your issues.

4. When you and you man have made a decision, avoid sharing information that should be kept between you and your man.
