Considering these factors, is a one-night stand all that bad?
There are two things to consider when one chooses to venture along this track:
It is indeed a risk to sleep with someone within a night or even a week of knowing them and not be concerned that your reputation won’t be tainted. A man can do this and he will be given a crown, but when a woman approaches the bench, she is scorned.
Many men will judge if a woman is wife material or just a fling for a night depending on how soon she gives up her “cookies”. And so many women are trapped into thinking that if they keep the lid on the cookie jar for a year, they can expect an engagement ring. Yes, a woman should value her worth, but she should know that in love and life, all things are a risk.
While it is safe to date for whatever period it takes to really evaluate someone before jumping into a sexual relationship, know that some people have knocked boots once and that was all it took for their “happily ever after”.
