How soon should you talk about your future together?

It is always wise to lay everything on the table when it comes to your relationship from day one, as no one wants to be operating contrary to the expectations of their mate. It is unfair for any one of the parties to invest in something that is actually not what they signed up for. We know it is indeed scary to have the “future” talk, but you actually need to do it because you do not want to be investing your emotions and your body into something you think is heading to a chapel and a white dress and the man is thinking otherwise.

A man who knows exactly what he is looking for in a partner will have that conversation effortlessly. Note that once you initiate the conversation and you see signs of discomfort, you should stop right there because that is a man not ready for that level of commitment.

There is absolutely no time limit on how soon you should start to talk about your life or future. Once you are steadily dating, dive into that topic as earliest as possible.

So measure when the time is right, but don’t wait until you have invested more than just your feelings to have the talk.
