Relationship status: It’s complicated

A social media relationship status update seems to be the standard these days, and woe be unto you if you aren’t given the privilege to be noted under the ‘in a relationship with…’ box. But what does it suggest when a man won’t acknowledge your relationship on social media?

Tina:

If a man is on social media and his woman is not on his profile, he is cheating. He is clearly doing some things he doesn’t want his woman to see or find out about.

Cecile:

My man is not on my social media and I am not cheating. It is just best if we are not on each other’s pages because sometimes you see things, misunderstand what you see, and use it against your partner.

Stacy:

My man didn’t add me to social media. I downloaded an app that gave me full access and what I saw, I almost went to prison for. Ladies, if you are excluded from your man’s social media, don’t crack your brain – he is definitely cheating on you!

Tia:

When a man is hiding he is cheating and it doesn’t even have to be on social media. Women need to pay more attention to what the man does more than what he says.
