Conversations you should avoid if you are just friends
There are certain topics that are inappropriate between friends, especially if one is in a serious relationship. These topics can suggest that you are not really serious about your relationship, and they can be disrespectful to your partner.
What are some of these?
Sueann:
Well, I don’t think friends, especially men and women type of friendships, should be discussing sex. It is all wrong and if you are a woman discussing your sex life with your male friend, it can be suggestive and send the wrong message. Be careful!
Tia:
I don’t discuss sex and my finances with my friends. My best friend is actually a man and I am very particular with what I discuss, not because I think he is going to jump me, but it is just out of respect.
Robert:
I don’t think it is appropriate for me to discuss my woman with my female friends especially when we have issues. It can send the wrong message and I am speaking from experience here. Gentlemen, be careful!
Georgia:
I avoid any conversations surrounding relationship drama and arguments as some people just want to know you are having problems to inject their opinions or themselves.
