When there is no sexual attraction
Sex in a relationship is like gas to a car – it is imperative that you connect. Where there is a lack, it can result in issues like infidelity. So when the attraction starts to wane, what’s the next move?RF:If that chemistry starts to fade, it is definitely going to cause a major problem. I am not the unfaithful type but it would make me feel some type of way. Like what is the point really to be in a relationship and not be having sex?Kimmie:Sometimes someone is not doing something right in the bedroom and that can definitely turn off the other partner. For example, my ex and I used to have amazing sex like almost everyday until one day he started doing something I wasn’t used to – he would just roll over and start snoring and it really annoyed me. In the beginning he was more romantic, and it’s these little things that can send the sexual chemistry straight into a hole, literally.Mark:The next move for me would be to move on. Sex is needed in a relationship from a man’s point of view. Women take this thing for granted when sex is what we men mostly think about. So how can you have that being problematic?Shelly:I think it can be fixed. Relationships have their highs and lows. The two people in the relationship would have to see it as important and decide to work on it, and it would mean stepping out of their shells and exploring each other. A relationship is work.PT:It happened to me. I mean I would dress so sexy for him and he would come in and go straight to sleep. I researched him, stalked him, and he wasn’t cheating to my knowledge so I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I cheated a few times because although I loved him, I needed the release. He found out and sad to say we are no longer together and thinking on it I am glad we aren’t because he wasn’t having sex with me so it really made no sense.
