‘RompHim’ Jamaican style?
SOCIAL media recently erupted with photos of a new fashion trend — RompHims — a project by the company Kickstarter, which is designing rompers specifically for men.
Men online have been openly shunning the style and vowing never to wear it, while women have promised to disown their men if they dared to purchase, let alone wear one.Below
All Woman sought the views of men on the new summer fashion trend. Richard:Hell no, hell no. I would never even think of wearing that. That’s something my girlfriend has, both the short ones and the long ones. They are too feminine, and even if they had a rough look, how would I pee? She has told me stories of how she has had to basically undress in public bathrooms when she wears them. That’s too much stress. Matthew:No. Even if I lived in a foreign country that’s more liberal, still no. It’s almost like wearing female biker shorts with an attached top. And if any of my friends wear it, I think I’d unfriend them in an instant.Byron:I’ve seen the pictures, but I hope they don’t hit stores here, because I thought men wouldn’t wear pants looking like tights, and they did. Imagine if those reach local stores! Our streets will be decorated with men in RompHims.Dale:My wife showed me the photos that have been doing the rounds on social media. Not my thing, and no one can convince me to put that on. Andrew:It’s too feminine, plus if you put on that, what will you do with the hair on your leg as a man? I can’t see how our very hairy legs would work in something like that, and bad man nah shave. Jordan:No. I can’t think of a reason… just no. Bradley:Down to the Bible seh man not to wear woman clothes, and woman must not wear man clothes. Me not putting it on. Monty:Me will stay with mi big trousers and roomy shirt. At least me guaranteed seh no man won’t pssst at me on the road, confusing me as a woman if I was to wear such a thing.
