How did you get over your ex?
Going through a break-up is one of the hardest things to do for anyone who invested their time and heart. Breaking up hurts. Some persons, however, have found ways to conquer this and have found closure which has helped them to move on seamlessly.
What was your foolproof method for getting over your ex?Tameka C :I had to delete all the pictures, videos and messages. I even went as far as to throw out everything he bought me because having his stuff around was torturing and for me to get over him, I got rid myself of all the things that held me back.Teresa:We decided to be friends and it worked out for the better. We don’t hang out but from time to time we’ll call each other and chat a bit — nothing too in depth because we both moved on, so there are boundaries. A lot of persons think I am crazy for remaining friends with my ex after he cheated on me with the female he is engaged to right now, but I came to the conclusion that we were not meant to be and I am happy with who I am with. I am secure in myself so it felt no way accepting that we weren’t good for each other.Mark:I just moved on, simple. There is no rocket science solution to relationships. If something doesn’t work, you simply keep pushing until you find what works for you.Delano:Well, the female that broke me, it made it very hard for me to trust, so after the break-up, I had casual dates but nothing serious, and I did that for a year. Over time I got over it and I am now seeing someone on a serious level and praying she doesn’t disappoint me like the one before.Shai:I moved on. I cried for a day and after that I wiped my tears and I dated someone else. If you cannot find someone, occupy your time, but avoid going back because a break-up is a clear sign that the relationship is not meant to be because the problems will come again.
