Will you marry me? No!
Tradition has it that a man is supposed to chase a woman, date her, wine and dine her, and ask for her hand in marriage. However, this generation has blown that ideal through the window as women are now the ones chasing, wining and dining and some are even bold enough to ask their men to marry them.
There has been an upsurge recently on the number of videos making the rounds online of men being rejected when they make proposals. What would you do if you asked your man to marry you before a crowd and he said no?Stacey:This is exactly why I wouldn’t ask for a man’s hand in marriage. I believe a man should do it and I am not about to make a guy style me to say I begged him to marry me.Lavern:I would probably bawl. Honestly, I have never thought of asking my man to marry me because I am honestly fearful of his response. If he tells me no, I would never get over it, so after five years I am still waiting on him to ask.Althea:I would feel so embarrassed; I would probably end the relationship after that. Knowing this generation, it would be viral on every social media that I got a big NO. I think I prefer tradition when it comes to marriage.Beverley:I definitely would call that relationship off.
