Single and irritable
Not everyone will buy into the idea that being single is the ideal; in fact, the single life has been a major struggle for many young adults, and dating is twice as difficult. People are frustrated with navigating the field, as they say dating promises nothing but disappointments.
Tina:I am extremely frustrated. Before I even went on a recent date, the guy was asking me for naked pictures. I am really annoyed at dating because I have been doing this for over a year and still cannot find anyone. I am at the point where I probably need to buy me a toy and be done with it.TG:It is hard to find a sensible relationship, especially if you have standards. I mean, I am at the point where I conclude I am going to be single for the rest of my life because surely I am not considering my own gender as an option.Chantel:I’ve given up on dating. I am basically pleasing myself. I got frustrated at dating especially from the last one who scammed me.SJ:I am done with dating. It is hard because men have no respect for women anymore. We are seen as items on a shelf and social media makes it so easy for women to be displayed like we are being sold, and if for whatever reason they are not satisfied, we are discarded.
