Untidy men
One of the things the experts warn about when cohabiting is that there will need to be compromise when two people share space together. Habits like toothpaste or hair in the sink can annoy a neat freak, so too can leaving the toilet seat up, not practising good hygiene, and generally just any habit that is contrary to what the other person is used to.
What annoys you most about your partner?
Jennifer:
I almost left my man for being nasty. Everyday I have to be a slave behind him, picking up after him. It’s not cheating alone that ends relationships – nastiness does it too!
Michelle:
One thing that gets me real miserable is an untidy house. What these men don’t understand is how hard it is to clean, cook, and give them sex. The least they can do is try to keep the house clean and tidy when we clean. I find it so annoying that after I make the bed, my man jumps straight in.
Marie C:
My man has a bad habit of throwing his dirty underpants on the bathroom floor. I am tired of picking up after him when he is older than my son who knows the meaning of cleanliness.
Kim:
I’m not sure if it is unique to men but all my friends have the same experience of their men being selfishly untidy. We’re all are just miserable about it and then they cuss us out saying we’re too miserable. But it is these things that trigger the misery.
Tameisha:
In the beginning of the relationship, my man was more understanding. Now he’s gotten comfortable. He is just untidy and it affects the relationship to the point where I don’t want him touching me. These are major triggers to a break-up!
