‘I am BOLD’
SAGICOR Motivational Seminar (SMS) kicked off last Thursday with an action-packed agenda for three days of powerful, motivational and inspirational fun and fellowship for Sagicor team members and their children. The weekend-long event, held under the theme “Live the Legacy, Live your Dream”, was hosted at the Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Resort, Montego Bay.
For the first time, SMS had its very own children-focused conference dubbed “I am BOLD” — one of several exciting activities designed for children throughout the weekend. Ranging from six to 17 years of age, the youngsters were exposed to etiquette classes and listened to words of inspiration from local influencers such as Shawn Ashman — fine artist, author and painter — and Brandon Ferguson, a financial advisor from Sagicor Life. Michelle Gordon, lifestyle consultant and CEO of B3 Parenting, joined Norma Williams, co-creator of LEAP (Leadership, Empowerment & Action Programme), in planning the weekend, with members of the ‘BOLD’ team on hand to lead various exciting sessions and activities.
A circus-themed event on Thursday night delighted the children, as they were treated to amazing performances from acrobats, fire breathers, stilt walkers and costumed characters. On Friday evening they got comfy in their custom PJs for a ‘starry night’ movie evening to watch the film ‘Wonder Woman’. Saturday evening saw the young ones well dressed in their gowns and suits as they dined in fine style at their very own BOLD Evening of Elegance Dinner Party — the final activity for a memorable weekend.
