Remember: Don’t overindulge this season
IT is the season of good cheer, good food, and much indulgence in food that you didn’t have all year.
Usually, these indulgences are high in sugar and fat, and in turn you may have elevated blood sugar levels and much extra weight after the holiday passes.
As Christmas Day approaches, remember that while you can indulge, do not go overboard then beat yourself up in the New Year to shed the extra pounds you have gained.
Remember, moderation is good in all things. For a change, this year you could try indulging in some healthier choices for those big dinners.
After all, a vegetarian twist for Christmas might be the jump start you need for 2018 to finally stick to your fitness goals and get back the body of your teenage years.
