Gift-giving
Officers of the University of Technology, Jamaica receive documentation for the donation of a medical stretcher to the UTech, Jamaica Medical Centre from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation of Jamaica (AHF Ja) at a presentation on Monday, December 19, 2022, at its Papine campus. The stretcher, valued at over $160,000, replaces a worn 20-year old model and will be used in general patient care at the university’s medical centre. The donation was facilitated through assistance from Simone McGregor Jackson, vice-president and chief human resource officer, UTech, Jamaica, and Dr Kevin Harvey, head, School of Public Health and Health Technology.
