Executive & Director Changes

Ryan Peralto has resigned as the general manager of Caribbean Cream Limited, effective April 28, after being appointed in December 2019.

Stephen Dear has been appointed as an independent director of Caribbean Producers (Jamaica) Limited, effective May 9. Dear has also been appointed chairman of the audit committee and takes over from Ron Schrager.

Robert Bermudez has retired as an independent director and chairman of Massy Holdings Limited, effective May 11, with Robert Riley taking over as chairman on May 12. James McLetchie has been appointed as an executive director of Massy Holdings Limited on August 15.

Dividend Declarations

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited has declared a dividend of US$0.23424657534 on its Class F (9.5 per cent) preference share to be paid on May 26 to shareholders on May 15. This payment totals US$ 575,217.53.

Mailpac Group Limited has declared a dividend of $0.07 to be paid on June 7 to shareholders on record as of May 24. This payment totals $175 million.

GraceKennedy Limited has declared a dividend of $0.50 to be paid on June 16 to shareholders on record as of May 26. This payment totals $497.56 million.

Eppley Limited has declared a dividend of $0.052 to be paid on June 12 to shareholders on record as of May 29. This payment totals $10.01 million.

Pan Jamaica Group Limited has declared a dividend of $0.10 to be paid on June 22 to shareholders on record as of May 29. This payment totals $162.77 million with Jamaica Producers Group Limited to receive $56.16 million.

Massy Holdings Limited has declared a dividend of TT$0.0315 to be paid on June 15 to shareholders on record as of June 1. This payment totals TT$62.35 million.

Eppley Caribbean Property Fund Limited SCC – Value Fund has declared a dividend of BDS$0.0015 to be paid on June 16 to shareholders on record as of June 2. This payment totals BDS$204,067.45.

Productive Business Solutions Limited has declared a US$346,875 dividend on its 9.25 per cent perpetual cumulative redeemable preference shares and a $12,945,205.48 dividend on its 10.50 per cent perpetual cumulative redeemable preference shares to be paid on June 30 to shareholders on June 15.

Salada Foods Jamaica Limited will consider paying an interim dividend to its shareholders at tomorrow’s board meeting.

Market Sales & Events

A director of Consolidated Bakeries Jamaica Company Limited purchased 145,000 shares for $2.44 on April 14. A director of Jamaican Teas Limited sold 200,100 shares between May 5 to 10. A related entity of Supreme Ventures Limited sold 319,424 shares of Supreme Ventures Limited at $27.75 on May 2 to a director while connected parties sold 54,906 shares between May 8 to 11.

Community & Workers of Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union Limited repurchased 188,490 shares at $1.78 on May 5.

Due to the implementation of IFRS 17 which replaces IFRS 4, IronRock Insurance Company Limited and General Accident Insurance Company Jamaica Limited’s unaudited first quarter results will not be available until June 15.

Spur Tree Spices Jamaica Limited’s 2022 audited financials and first-quarter unaudited results have been delayed and should be published on or before May 22.

A block transaction of 24,335,503 shares in Eppley Caribbean Property Fund SCC – Development Fund occurred on April 11 on the Barbadian Stock Exchange between Eppley Fund Managers Limited and the accepting shareholders at BDS $0.21. Eppley Limited is expected to record a gain on bargain purchase of $220 million in its second quarter results.

Trinidad Cement Limited’s 2022 annual report has been delayed again and should be published by June 15.

The Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services Limited has reaffirmed the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation and Development Finance Limited’s ‘high’ (CariAA) credit ratings.
