Formerly C&W, relaunched Liberty Business committed to powering digital growth in Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Liberty Business, formerly known as C&W Business, has renewed its commitment to help local businesses innovate faster, operate more efficiently, strengthen resilience, and compete in an increasingly digital global economy.

The company was officially reintroduced on Tuesday, May 19, during a launch event at the Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay, marking what the company says is a significant milestone in the evolution of its enterprise business across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.

Now positioned as one of the Caribbean’s leading technology solutions providers, Liberty Business delivers enterprise-grade services designed to help organisations drive growth, improve operational performance, and accelerate digital transformation across sectors including financial services, tourism, government, education, healthcare, business process outsourcing, and entrepreneurship.

Welcoming guests to the launch event, Vice President and General Manager of Flow, Stephen Price, who also has responsibility for the Liberty Business brand in Jamaica, emphasised the growing importance of trusted technology partnerships in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.

“Jamaican businesses are operating in a world where agility, resilience, and digital capability are no longer optional; they are essential,” he said.

Liberty Caribbean are the operators of Flow, Liberty Business and BTC.

“Our team understands the realities and opportunities that exist within the Caribbean, and through the launch of Liberty Business, we are reaffirming our commitment to helping organisations across Jamaica move forward with confidence, supported by world-class technology, regional expertise, and trusted partnership.”

Chief Commercial Officer of B2B Liberty Caribbean, Daniel Neiva, said the transition to Liberty Business reflects a broader strategic evolution in how the company supports enterprise customers across the region.

“This evolution represents far more than a change in identity. It reflects a renewed commitment to helping Caribbean businesses become stronger, more resilient, and more competitive in a rapidly changing digital economy,” he said.

“Organisations today are navigating increasing complexity driven by cybersecurity threats, cloud adoption, operational demands, and rising customer expectations. Liberty Business exists to help simplify that journey by combining connectivity, technology, and strategic expertise to create meaningful business outcomes and unlock future opportunities through digital transformation.”

Neiva also highlighted the increasingly critical role that digital infrastructure and technology services now play in enabling national development, economic resilience, and private sector competitiveness throughout the Caribbean.

As part of the launch, Liberty Business also announced a strategic cybersecurity collaboration with Simply Secure Group, a managed security services provider specialising in autonomous AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.

The partnership is intended to help Jamaican organisations strengthen their cybersecurity posture, improve digital resilience, and better respond to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

In his closing remarks,  Senior Director of B2B Services (Jamaica) Charles Manus, expressed optimism about Jamaica’s future and the role technology will play in shaping the country’s continued development.

“Jamaica remains one of the Caribbean’s most dynamic, connected, and ambitious markets, with significant opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth,” he said.

“Our responsibility is to help businesses and institutions harness technology in practical and impactful ways that improve outcomes, strengthen resilience, and unlock new possibilities for economic progress.”
