– Rupert Bent Snr played guitar on Lips of Wine, Dennis Brown's first hit song, released in 1968. Produced by Derrick Harriott.

– Leroy Sibbles played bass on No Man Is An Island, the song and album Dennis Brown recorded for producer Clement "Coxsone" Dodd in 1969.

– Derrick Harriott produced Super Reggae & Soul Hits, Brown's 1972 album on which he is backed by the Now Generation Band. It contains a cover of Glen Campbell's Wichita Lineman.

– Dennis Brown played bass on Tribal War, Little Roy's hit song from 1974.

– His partnership with Joe Gibbs in the late 1970s and early 1980s produced most of his hit songs. They include How Could I Live, Ain't That Loving You, Stay at Home, and Should I.

– DEB, the label he started in the late 1970s, released songs by artistes like Junior Delgado as well as Wolf & Leopard, his best-selling album.
