Romeich Major in ‘Hennessy’ paradise
Music producer and entrepreneur Romeich Major celebrated his 38th birthday at an event dubbed Hennessey Top 500 held at Romeich HQ, off Waltham Park Road in St Andrew on October 28.
“Big up to everyone who came out to celebrate this birthday with me. I really appreciate it. It’s a huge success,” said Romeich.
The event, sponsored by Hennessy Jamaica, ensured their ambassador had the best of the best from the event’s mystical setup to his lavish gifts.
Regional marketing manager for J Wray & Nephew Kamal Powell was on hand to join in the celebrations and presented Romeich with his special gift.
“Happy birthday to Romeich. Today we are presenting him with a very special bottle of Hennessy Paradis which was specially flown in just for his birthday. Big up on your ‘earthstrong’ mi boss and on behalf of Hennessy, it’s another milestone for the work you have done in the industry of music,” he said.
The Hennessy Paradis is a rare eaux-de-vie cognac that has been aged for up to 130 years.
Romeich expressed thanks to the J Wray & Nephew representatives who he says have been like a family to him over the years.
“The group company of J Wray & Nephew that is now Campari has been a family for many years and we affi big dem up because they are a big part of me becoming Romeich Entertainment. Suh all a unnu Wray & Nephew family up deh suh unnu, just know seh a nuh just work and di money weh unnu gimmie, unnu a family to mi suh big up and love all di while,” he shared.
One thing was certain and that was the vibrant energy that swept the scene and permeated the magical atmosphere. In true ‘Top 500’ style, the movers and shakers were out in their numbers soaking up the fun. Spotted were the likes of senior government advisor and communications strategist, Delano Seiveright, philanthropist Aunty Donna, local designer Errice Alicia, Protege, Kemar Highcon, Ding Dong, and many others. There was also a spontaneous appearance from international stars USA-based comedian Major Hype and actor, and comedian, Cedric The Entertainer.
