American food chain TGI Fridays unveiled its newly-renovated space in Kingston on Thursday, November 10. The private reopening event held at the Hope Road location attracted a slew of influencers eager to return to one of their favourite weekend endroits and experience the latest offerings of the eatery that was closed for five weeks. They were not to be disappointed! The menu features 11 new dishes: Loaded Chicken Nachos, Loaded Buffalo Chicken Fries, Texas BBQ Wings, Sweet & Spicy Wings, Shrimp Arrabiata, Million Dollar Cobb Salad, Sizzling Shrimp Scampi, Ultimate Cheesy Bacon Burger, Little Italy Burger, Wingman Burger and The S'mores Pie.

According to the CEO of Prestige Holdings Limited, the company that manages the franchise, Simon Hardy, "This investment is a reflection of our confidence in the Jamaican economy and strength of the TGI Fridays brand as we continue to elevate casual dining in Jamaica — starting with Kingston."

TGIF Vice-President Kerri Hosein-Khan, who was also on-site for the grand reopening, shared, "TGI Fridays has always been the place you go to for great food and a good time with friends and family, no matter the occasion. We have been known for creating that Friday feeling any day of the week. Now, we have raised the bar on that experience to deliver not only a fresh new look, but exciting new food and beverage options with exceptional service. We want people to look to us as the number one casual dining restaurant in Kingston for creating memorable occasions because 'In Here, It's Always Friday'."
