The well-decorated Mahogany headlines a strong field of 14 runners for the $2.50million Port Royal Sprint, a race which is expected to blaze many fireworks from start to finish.

The three-year-old and upward Graded Stakes/Open Allowance contest will go over 6 furlongs (1,200m).

1. KING ARTHUR: (6 b g by Natural Selection – Geisha’s Art) – Former Jamaica Derby winner who has trained very well coming into this race. King Arthur would prefer it longer but is capable enough to get a piece of the pie.

2. GENERATIONAL: (6 ch g by Fearless Vision – Electrifying) – Has no realistic chance of winning here.

3. ABILITY: (3 b c by Lion Tamer – Disability Charm) – This year’s Jamaica Derby winner. Ability finished third behind She’s My Destiny and Mahogany in the recent Gold Cup over 7 furlongs (1,400m). Ability has already won over this distance and despite the stiff competition here, he should not be disgraced.

4. FREEDOM STREET: (4 b g by Uncaptured – Nofashionsense) – Should easily be bypassed here.

5. MADELYN’S SUNSHINE (USA): (4 dkb/br f by Jose’s Son Joey – Madelyn’s Finest) – Returned to winning ways when easily defeated rivals in the Kaz Hoshay Trophy over 6 furlongs on November 4. Madelyn’s Sunshine has speed and she is going to make a bold bid from in front.

6. PERFECT BREW: (4 b g by Bern Identity – Moonlight Brew) – Won over tomorrow’s distance on October 7, clocking an impressive 1:12.1 in the process. Perfect Brew has the talent to figure here and based on his capabilities, he is going to have an impact on the outcome of this race.

7. IS THAT A FACT (USA): (3 b c by Palace Malice – Valid Code) – Had his four-race winning streak halted by the talented Mahogany on October 28 over 5 furlongs (1,000m) round. In that race, Is That A Fact walked out of the starting gates, made up a lot of ground and came home 5 ½ lengths behind Mahogany. Is That A Fact faces Mahogany here once more and if he can produce his usual lightning start, he should be a dangerous contender here.

8. MAHOGANY: (6 ch g by Sensational Slam – Mete-Orite) – Made amends for his Gold Cup with a spanking win going 5 furlongs round on October 28. Mahogany made one move to win in a smart 59.3. Mahogany has won over this distance four times in six outings and is expected to tick off another win here.

9. GOD OF LOVE: (7 b g by Adore The Gold – Shanda D) – Consistent sort who should find the going tough here.

10. MAMMA MIA: (3 ch f by Soul Warrior – Princess Geeta) – Returns to competitive race from a 96-day break following her win in the 10-furlong (2,000m) Jamaica Oaks on August 5. Mamma Mia is better suited to this sprint distance and could take up a hand here.

11. DUKE: (7 gr h by Casual Trick – Lady MacBeth) – Had three runs at the Overnight Allowance level without any success. Duke steps up here to compete and is not going to trouble the main principals here.

12. I AM FRED (USA): (5 b g by Golden Lad – Happy Hailey) – Finished a disappointed sixth place in the 7-furlong Gold Cup on October 16. I Am Fred, based on back class, should run a much better race here.

13. ROJORN DI PILOT: (7 b h by Liquidity – I’M Magic) – Capable runner who is not going to have say in the outcome of this race.

14. I’VE GOT MAGIC (USA): (5 b h by Fast Anna – Lil Miss Richie) – Finished is seventh place in the recent Gold Cup on October 16. I’ve Got Magic is expected to do better here and could go home earning.
