ST JAMES, Jamaica – The bloodletting continues in St James following another double murder in the parish on Wednesday night in the community Roehampton.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old farmer Linston Anderson, otherwise called 'Blacks' and 20-year-old Tavar Doeman, otherwise called 'Ravers'. Both men are from the community.
According to the police report, about 10:30pm the men were at a location in the community when a lone gunman approached them and opened fire hitting them. Another man was injured during the incident.
The police were summoned and Anderson and Doeman were seen suffering from gunshot wounds. They later succumbed to their injuries.
The other injured man managed to escape and was assisted to hospital, where he is currently being treated.
Detectives from the Major Investigations Division are probing the incident.
