Digicel to continue spreading cheer to customers through Christmas promotion
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Through its Christmas promotion, the telecommunications giant Digicel has awarded over $15 million in cash and prizes to participants in its ‘Christmas is a 10’ promotion. But with just about three weeks until Christmas, Digicel is looking to continue its spread of holiday cheer.
In a release on Monday, Digicel revealed that in addition to the cash giveaways, they have been staging fun days where customers have already been gifted over $5 million worth of iPhones, robot vacuum cleaners, and utility vouchers via drones in the towns of Savanna la Mar, Santa Cruz, Mandeville, Morant Bay, Port Antonio, and Portmore.
The gift-bearing drones will be making their way to Lucea and Montego Bay on December 13; St William Grant Park in downtown Kingston on December 14, and a final stop in Ocho Rios on December 23.
The Digicel ‘Christmas is the 10 promotion’ is for customers to win 10 grand prizes of $1 million, 10 winners of smart home appliances, and 10 under-21 winners of PS5 gaming consoles.
Joining in on the spirit of the season, Digicel’s team of brand ambassadors, including Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Briana Williams, are all set to add to the company’s philanthropic efforts this season with Christmas treats hosted in their various communities.
The Digicel Foundation will also be sharing in the spirit of the season by hosting similar Christmas treats at 10 children’s homes.
