Four J'can talents featured on ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ soundtrack

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaican talents Shenseea, BEAM, Di Genius and Toian have been featured on the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie soundtrack.

The soundtrack is produced by Metro Boomin and is also said to feature A$AP Rocky, James Blake, Lil Wayne and Offset among others.

Shenseea shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Monday, teasing a 30-second video of the track, accompanied by an animated picture of her in a spider suit.

“I’m on the @spiderversemovie Soundtrack Disc 2! Check it!” Shenseea said in a post on social media.

Disc 1 of the track includes ‘Link Up’ by Metro Boomin and Don Toliver, Wizkid ft Beam and Toian, while Disc 2 features ‘Take It To The Top’ by Becky G and Ayra Starr, produced by Di Genius and ‘Infamous’ by Shenseea and Myke Towers.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse tells the story of Brooklyn’s full-time friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man reuniting with Gwen Stacy and is catapulted across the Multiverse, where encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.
