Klansman gang member Tomrick Taylor was sentenced to 9 and half years during Monday’s hearing at the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston.
Taylor’s sentence was reduced from an initial 17 years, having served five years and two years discounted due to no previous convictions.
Meanwhile, the leader of the St Catherine-based gang, Andre "Blackman" Bryan, returned to the courtroom after he was observed clutching his stomach and subsequently removed from the courtroom.
Reports indicate that Bryan displayed signs of discomfort, keeping his head down for the majority of the time and even burping at one point.
Chief Justie Bryan Sykes reportedly instructed the police to investigate the source of his discomfort.
